Put off

¿Y put off? ¿Qué creen que significa?... Tiene varios significados. Veamos cada caso.

1) Put off = posponer

Sally estuvo posponiendo sus tareas últimamente. Ahora, está tapada de trabajo.

I always put off paying the bills... But I pay them in time not to lose any utilities.

You have to reply to her email soon, you know. You can't keep putting that off forever.

The job seemed interesting, but the idea of having to move to another city really puts me off.

Don't be put off by the name of the movie. You're going to love it!
¡Te va a encantar!

3) Put off = desconcentrar

All that noise is really putting me off work.
