All together es una frase que significa "todos juntos". Altogether es un adverbio que significa "en total", "por completo". Veamos algunos ejemplos.

En esta foto, estamos todos juntos en la puerta de la escuela.
2) Altogether, the party last night was very good.
En su totalidad/En general, la fiesta de anoche estuvo muy bien.
3) Altogether he owed about $1,000.
En total, debía como $1.000.
4) Jane: Should we look at a few pages before we send this to print?
Juana: ¿Deberíamos mirar algunas páginas antes de enviar esto a imprenta?
Mary: Not a few pages. Let's revise the book altogether.
María: Algunas páginas, no. Revisemos todo el libro/el libro en su totalidad.
